Some of the key ministries with which you may like to become involved include:
- Mass Organisers - Preparing the church each week for the celebration of the Eucharist.
- Extraordinary Minister of Communion – Assisting the priest in distributing Holy Communion at Masses and when visiting the sick in their homes.
- Hospitality - Morning Tea - setting up and serving a cuppa and some bikkies to the congregation after Sunday morning Mass
- Welcoming - welcoming people to the weekend Mass with a smile and a copy of the newsletter. This is great for a family to do together.
- Baptismal Preparation – Working with parents to prepare them for the celebration of their child’s baptism.
- Baptism Hospitality - greeting families on the day of their baptism and assisting the priest during the ceremony
- Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) – Preparing and celebrating a separate Liturgy of the Word with the children which is more appropriate to their level of understanding.
